RisingStar product: Outdoor digital signage
Outdoor digital signage is a crucial product in RisingStar’s production line. It comes in various mounting options, including floor standing, ceiling, and wall mounted configurations, catering to diverse installation requirements. A key challenge in manufacturing these products is effective “thermal dissipation”. Even though the LCD panel and other components are designed to operate in environments as hot as 60℃, the heat generated by the display itself, combined with external environmental factors, can sometimes raise the temperature of the components to over 100℃. If manufacturers like us fail to consider this, it could lead to damage to the final customers’ products, especially since they are not manufacturers themselves. We primarily use fans to construct air ducts to address the heat dissipation issue, allowing air to carry away excess heat from the LCD display. In extremely hot environments, we also employ air conditioning (A.C.) systems. Additionally, we have specially designed the back housing by adding radiation fins to increase the contact area with the air. Based on this concept, we have developed a series of fanless outdoor digital signage that rely solely on radiation fins for heat dissipation. These fanless products not only consume less power but also eliminate noise, thanks to the absence of fans. They are capable of operating in a wide temperature range, from -20℃ to 70℃, making them suitable for various outdoor conditions.
